What does ParcelPlug EV actually do?

ParcelPlug EV introduces property decision-makers to qualified EV charging installers. The installer handles the site assessment, quote, installation contract, permits, electrical work and warranty. ParcelPlug EV does not install chargers, manage construction or collect installation deposits.

Can I use this publicly or pay today?

The information site is public. Free installer applications open after owner setup; private property requests open after verified installer coverage is ready. Lead purchasing and outbound email remain disabled. No immediate project supply or installer match is promised.

Can anyone create a lead that installers immediately pay for?

No. The property assessment page accepts private review requests only when intake is open. A form submission is not a purchasable lead. The operator must independently check authority, contact information, scope, timing and current interest, record evidence and resolve screening flags before making an anonymous opportunity available. A different landing page alone cannot eliminate fraud.

What does the other party see before an introduction?

Before an authorized, verified purchase, installers see only a categorized brief: county, property type, charger scope, timing, budget status and match reasons. Property names, people, exact addresses, free-text notes, files and direct contacts stay private. Decision-makers cannot browse identifiable installer profiles before a paid introduction. After the introduction, the parties can communicate directly.

Do I need an account, card or complete electrical plans?

When intake opens, no application account or credit card is needed to request a private project review. Save the private tracking link shown after submission; it is not emailed in this pilot. An approximate charger count is enough. Choose Not sure or Not established where appropriate. A licensed installer must assess electrical capacity and final feasibility. Submitting does not publish a listing; qualification is required before installers can see an anonymous opportunity.

Is it free, and do I have to hire anyone?

Requesting a review and receiving introductions are free. Installers pay the marketplace for authorized contact access. You are not required to hire an introduced installer and may evaluate other contractors independently. Any assessment fee, equipment, installation or ongoing service charge must be agreed directly with the contractor before work begins.

Does Compare Bids guarantee three quotes?

No. Match Me allows one introduction; Compare Bids allows up to three. These are maximum introduction counts, not guaranteed bids. Installers decide whether to buy access and whether to propose. Quotes, site visits and messages are exchanged directly, not collected or compared automatically in this portal.

What happens after I submit, and how soon will someone respond?

The operator reviews your authority, scope, active interest and sharing permission, then identifies suitable approved installers. Your project stays in review until qualified. No match, response deadline or installation date is promised. Introduced businesses appear in My installers after verified payment and may contact you through the details you supplied. You do not need to return to approve each installer on a new upfront-consent project.

Can I choose the contractor before my information is shared?

This service uses your upfront permission to introduce one or up to three qualified, matched businesses. It does not offer named-contractor selection before contact release. You decide whom, if anyone, to hire after the introduction. Submit only if you are comfortable with that sharing arrangement; you can stop future platform access through your project controls.

What does a credential review guarantee?

The operator records a review of business identity, applicable license information, insurance and service fit. It does not guarantee workmanship, price or availability. Before signing a contract, independently confirm current credentials and compare written scope, payment terms, equipment, permits, electrical and utility work, warranties and recurring fees.

What if my address, scope, contact details or matching choice changes?

Open your project and select Request a correction. The operator must review changes; submitting a support request does not change the listing. If the current brief is misleading, pause it while the correction is reviewed. Do not post a duplicate to reset introductions or broaden sharing. Used places and sold exclusivity cannot be reset.

What happens if I pause, close or delete my project?

These actions stop further purchases and revoke existing platform contact access. Information already received or downloaded cannot be recalled. Resuming needs renewed sharing permission and does not restore revoked purchases or used places. Closing does not cancel a separate contractor agreement or prove installation is complete. Exchange any needed details with your chosen installer first.

What if nobody responds, or I do not like the introduced installers?

You do not have to hire them. Check that your contact details and scope are correct, and report a non-response or fit concern through support. We do not automatically replace a buyer, promise another introduction beyond your limit or resell an exclusive opportunity. Pause or close if you no longer want contact.

What if I lose my private tracking link?

If you posted while signed in, check My projects with that same account. For a guest submission, ask support to review recovery. Do not submit another copy of the project. There is no automatic recovery link or emailed tracking link in this pilot; ownership must be checked before private details are released. Never send the full secret link in a support message.

Ask about tracking access →
Where do proposals, messages, equipment decisions and payments happen?

After an introduction, discuss the assessment, proposed equipment, ownership, permits, utility coordination, maintenance, billing/network fees, warranties and installation schedule directly with the contractor. This portal does not host chat, collect bids, finance projects or hold installation funds. Any incentive eligibility needs separate current verification; no funding is promised.

How do I report a problem, and what response should I expect?

Email support@parcelplugev.com for help now. When the website support form is open, its submissions are saved privately and return a reference you can keep. Include the project or purchase reference, not a private tracking link or card information. Support is not an electrical emergency service. No response deadline or automatic support email is promised in this pilot.
